Language and history are two fundamental elements of national identity. Literature is the tipping point where these two elements are manifested. Hence, literature carries historical messages of nations through their common languages. The medieval history is the most glorious era of the Iranian literature tied with Ferdausi, Beihaqi, Jowayni, Sa’di, Hafez, Molawi and many other great scholars and literary men. The reflection of historical events in literary works necessitates interdisciplinary studies. This section aims to extract historical points from literary sources.
